A new 27,000-square-foot upscale food hall, Cocoa Beach Mercado, is set to enhance the culinary and entertainment landscape of Cocoa Beach. This innovative venue, featuring twelve diverse restaurants, a brewery, and private event space, is expected to break ground later this year, with plans to open by Thanksgiving 2025.

Cocoa Beach Mercado: A Culinary Hub

Located at 1325 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach Mercado will offer permanent food providers instead of rotating options. Owner Daniel Todd, a Cocoa Beach native, promises a variety of cuisines to cater to diverse tastes. “It will be a big mix, all will be different,” Todd told Florida Today, highlighting the venue’s commitment to culinary diversity.

Exciting Features and Amenities

In addition to the eclectic dining options, Cocoa Beach Mercado will feature a rooftop bar on the third level, offering stunning views of the Banana River. The venue will also include a private event space accommodating up to 125 people and an 8,000-square-foot covered courtyard adorned with tropical landscaping and water features.

Strategic Location

Cocoa Beach Mercado will be situated directly across from a $388 million Westin-branded resort, expected to break ground by mid-August. This prime location at an empty lot on N. Atlantic Ave. positions the food hall to become a central attraction for both locals and visitors.

Family-Friendly Entertainment

Emphasizing family-friendly entertainment, Todd plans to host small bands, holiday shows, and trivia nights at Cocoa Beach Mercado. “We want it to be really tasteful and well done,” Todd said, assuring that the venue will maintain a classy ambiance without large concerts.

Experienced Leadership

Daniel Todd, also the owner of the popular Cocoa Beach restaurant 4th Street Fillin Station, brings his expertise in the restaurant business to this new venture. His vision for Cocoa Beach Mercado is to create a community-centric space that offers something for everyone.

Stay tuned for more updates on Cocoa Beach Mercado as it prepares to transform the culinary and entertainment scene in Cocoa Beach.
